HISTORY

When it comes to lithium batteries, years of accumulated knowledge matters. Green Cubes Technology has accrued over 150+ years of lithium battery knowledge across diverse applications.  Green Cubes was there when the market progressed from lead-acid to NiMH to lithium. We were there introducing Benchmarq, the first smart-chip microprocessors (later acquired by Texas Instruments). After 30 years of developing countless lithium systems for multiple applications, we understand the advantages and, more importantly, the limitations of lithium batteries. We are proud of the projects we have participated in which have helped customers achieve their operational and financial goals. We reflect on our past as we continue to innovate the future.

VISION

The battery is a medium that stores energy in its potential form. There are many battery chemistries, all with advantages and disadvantages. Lead-acid efficiency is only 70%, which means 30% of this precious energy is wasted as heat due to poor reactivity and high impedance. Relative to the lithium life cycle, it has a short life span. Millions of tons of lead-acid batteries go back to smelters where poisonous lead affects our communities for recycling, which in itself is energy intensive. Green Cubes Technology designs the necessary electronics and software to make a clean technology, like lithium, safer and accessible, and thus easing the conversion away from lead-acid batteries. Today lithium technology is the most efficient, however tomorrow it might be something else. No matter what the technology is, our vision is to design platforms to help accelerate the adoption of cleaner energy mediums.

The number one barrier to converting Lead Acid to Lithium is cost. Design cost, material cost and manufacturing costs. Breaking the cost barriers cannot be done without a global team. We have assembled the most efficient Global team in the industry. Our Taiwan team are experts in component selection. Our India team help create low cost but solid hardware and software platforms. Our Malaysia team strive for manufacturing quality and efficiency. And our USA team is on the frontline of the conversion.  We leverage the efficiencies of our different teams so that our customers realize a realistic and attainable Return on Investment.
